Join us to explore mass timber enclosures

mass timber enclosure symposium rdhRDH Building Science invites you to join our team for a discussion on successful mass timber building enclosure design and risk mitigation. Led by RDH’s building enclosure specialists and guests from the industry, together we’ll explore how best to design and construct mass timber enclosures to mitigate both short- and long-term risks.

This full-day event is an opportunity for architects, designers, contractors, and developers to strengthen their understanding of mass timber enclosure design practices and hone their understanding of how key decisions impact the overall enclosure and its ability to provide long-term protection for the structure and its occupants.

Explore design, manage risk

As the design and construction industry continues to search for more sustainable and cost-efficient methods of construction, mass timber has presented itself both as a viable and desirable option. With this new wave of design and construction comes challenges not faced by more conventional building systems and enclosure products. Specialists speaking at the symposium will explore and discuss a number of topics relevant to the design and construction of mass timber enclosures in North America, focusing on opportunities to manage risk and increase the long-term durability of the mass timber enclosure.

Why RDH Building Science?

For over 20 years, RDH Building Science has been committed to leading change in the design and construction industry. We believe that all buildings can be made better through the integration of science, design, and construction expertise. Our integrated team has contributed to mass timber projects throughout North America and has built a strong understanding of considerations needed to create a durable and high-performance enclosure. Many speakers you will hear from at the Symposium are industry leaders in the area of mass timber and regularly present and consult on mass timber enclosure design and construction practices.
