RDH Building Science is an approved continuing education provider for the organizations listed below. RDH’s reporting requirements and procedures are described for each organization. For answers to common continuing education questions, visit our FAQ page. 

 

American Institute of Architects (AIA)

AIA offers continuing education credit in terms of learning units (LUs) that are categorized as either HSW (health, safety, and welfare) or Elective. One hour of continuing education is equal to 1 LU.

The Learn Building Science team will report attendance to AIA for all eligible participant who completes one of our learning programs and requests AIA reporting during registration. Participants must provide their AIA member number for reporting purposes.

Architectural Institute of British Columbia (AIBC) 

AIBC’s Continuing Education System (CES) offers learning units (LUs) in two categories: Core and Non-core. One hour of continuing education is equal to 1 LU. 

The Learn Building Science team will report attendance to AIBC for any participant who completes one of our learning programs and requests AIBC reporting during registration. Participants must provide their AIBC member number for reporting purposes. 

Education Provider Program (EPP) 

The EPP is a continuing education system that represents these three architects’ associations in eastern Canada: Architects’ Association of New Brunswick (AANB); Architects Licensing Board of Newfoundland and Labrador (ALBNL); Nova Scotia Association of Architects (NSAA)  

EPP’s Continuing Education (CE) program has two categories of learning activities: Core (structured) hours of learning or Self-directed (unstructured) hours of learning.  

The Learn Building Science team will issue a completion certificate and report attendance to EPP for any participant who completes one of our learning programs and requests EPP reporting for that program during registration.  

Participants can send their completion certificate to EPP for self-reporting purposes.

Phius 

Phius offers continuing education units (CEUs) for participants in its Certified Passive House Consultant (CPHC) program.  

Individuals who wish to receive Phius CPHC CEUs must self-report their attendance at approved learning programs to Phius. Use this form to self-report your attendance to Phius. The self-report code is provided in the follow-up email attendees receive after the event along with a completion certificate.
