The Applications Support (IT Support Specialist) – Level 1 is a key corporate operational role that will support nine RDH offices in North America. The successful applicant will be a self-starter and problem-solver, with strong communication skills to proactively provide the highest level of customer service to our growing firm.

Hybrid opportunities are available near any RDH office – Vancouver, Victoria, Courtenay, Toronto, Waterloo, Seattle, Boston, Portland, and Oakland.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As part of the Business Technology group, the role provides applications support to RDH users across the different offices. Support is provided through various channels as well as in-person support at the office if feasible.
  • Delivering 1:1 training for users that require more support or help with understanding concepts. For example, showing a user how to use OneDrive to sync.
  • Troubleshooting typical application issues like unable to save or print, unable to login, missing files etc
  • Helping users leverage O365 apps to solve everyday tasks. For example, using Microsoft Automate for repetitive tasks.
  • Support with the onboarding and offboarding processes that relate to applications.
  • Monitor the helpdesk queue for application support inquires. Create tickets as needed for requests made outside the helpdesk ticketing system.
  • Ensure requests are logged, prioritized, and resolved in a timely manner in the helpdesk ticketing system.
  • Liaise with third-party support from service providers and vendors when necessary.
  • Contributes to the improvement of tools and processes.
  • Other activities that support the Business Technology group.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science or equivalent; or a combination of Helpdesk certification, training, and experience
  • Proficient in Office 365 suite of apps, Windows operating systems, Android and iOS devices and operating system.
  • Nice to have, knowledge of industry tools like Bluebeam, Autodesk apps, Adobe Creative Cloud apps. (You need to possess enough knowledge for troubleshooting.)
