The Business Technology department’s role at RDH is to provide and maintain the technological infrastructure that enables every department to function efficiently, supporting revenue and helping drive towards achieving RDH’s Vision.

Our responsibilities include managing and securing the company’s data and endpoints, implementing and maintaining network systems, providing helpdesk support, and ensuring all hardware and software are up-to-date. We also research and implement new technologies to drive innovation and efficiency within the company.

The core purpose of the Business Applications Specialist role will be to work within the team on application integration according to the needs of the system being developed. The successful candidate will also assist with defining solutions based on these needs, and refining the scope as required; and therefore, will also need to develop an appreciation of RDH’s business, and exercise client management skills. They will also be expected to support other areas of the department as appropriate.

Travel is not required for the role. From time to time there will be a need to work outside of core business hours.  


  • Integrating on-premises and SaaS applications leveraging APIs, Logic Apps, or other integration tools
  • Evaluate and recommend new applications that may include replacement of proprietary RDH applications. Activities will include research, proof-of-concept, integration/customization, testing and support
  • Establish effective working relationships with internal clients to support their technology needs
  • Work effectively with the team – Collaboration, knowledge sharing and support
  • Help translate business requirements into scalable user-focused technical solutions. Proactively identify practice areas that can benefit from new solutions or process automation. Investigate, recommend, build, deploy, and document
  • Develop and maintain expertise with emerging, current, and evolving technologies, products, and practices
  • When necessary, be a resource for Helpdesk for any issues beyond their ability to resolve


  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; or a combination of training and experience 
  • Minimum of 5+ years experience in cloud solution development and enterprise system integration, Azure and Microsoft development technologies, application APIs (Logic Apps, API Management) and data services
  • Strong knowledge of web, API technologies and programming/scripting languages. (C#, .NET, PowerShell, Web services, Python, HTML5, JavaScript, Python, XML, CSS, MS Graph API, RESTful/Web API, JSON etc)
  • Expert knowledge of data management, data integration and database development techniques. MS SQL, Dataverse
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including Azure DevOps, Docker CI/CD, ARM templates
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, Azure cloud services 
  • Knowledge of security best practices in application integration and development 
  • Knowledge of automation and AI/ML technologies
  • Knowledge of M365 suite of apps especially SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform

The base salary range for this position is $80,000 – $115,000 annualized for a full-time role. Salary is dependent various factors, including qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for discretionary incentives and share ownership.
