The voluntary “Reference Procedure for Simulating Spandrel U-Factors” is a new and public resource prepared with the participation of the FENBC Technical Committee and the financial support of BC Housing under the Building Excellence Research and Education Grants Program.
The voluntary procedure is based on NFRC 100 and supplements that methodology to help fenestration manufacturers determine more realistic spandrel panel U-factors for compliance with whole building energy design standards.
