This rebrand and website launch, more than a year in development, reflect how RDH has evolved and how we want to communicate our work moving forward.
Built for What’s Next
The new website was designed to better communicate our technical expertise, support business development, and provide a clearer picture of RDH’s people and culture.
Our previous site no longer reflected the scale of the firm. As RDH expanded across North America, navigation became more challenging, content was inconsistent, and many aspects of the firm, including our people, thought leadership, and culture, were underrepresented.
The new site provides a clearer structure, improves navigation, and makes it easier to explore our services, projects, technical resources, and careers.
How We Got Here
Our research extended beyond architecture and engineering firms to organizations in technology, retail, higher education, and cultural institutions. We studied how these organizations organize complex information, guide users through content, and communicate their brand.
The goal was to create a website that supports multiple audiences. It functions as a technical resource, a business development tool, a recruitment platform, and a reflection of RDH’s culture.
Key decisions included reorganizing our services into a clearer taxonomy, redesigning project pages to better communicate project outcomes, and developing a more accessible visual system that can support future growth.
What’s Changed?
- Clearer service organization: A revised service taxonomy makes it easier to understand how RDH’s expertise is organized and connected.
- Expanded project library: Project case studies spanning nearly three decades, from the work that established RDH to the work shaping the firm today.
- A stronger careers experience: New content highlights our people, culture, and career opportunities alongside open positions.
- Improved accessibility: Higher color contrast, clearer typography, and responsive layouts improve usability across devices.
