This much-needed redevelopment, led by construction services company, EllisDon, includes the design, build, financing, and maintenance for 30 years. The Bayers Lake Community Outpatient Centre is a 3-storey, 134,000-sf outpatient facility providing primary care services and clinics.
RDH provided thought partnership and collaboration during Design Development and Construction Documentation. Delivering a climate-responsive, durable, and comfortable facility meant prioritizing decision-making at the intersection of design and energy efficiency, balancing and resolving the two every step of the way. Throughout Construction Administration, we oversaw the installation of assemblies and facilitated Field Reviews and on-site assembly testing (air and water). RDH worked with the Building Commissioning agent to help verify that the designed, installed, and tested enclosure components satisfied the environmental performance and operational criteria.
