RDH joined forces with the Masonry Institute of Washington and the Northwest Masonry Institute along with other industry organizations to create this in-depth design guide for masonry enclosures in the region. The first of its kind, the 2016 Masonry Systems Guide: Northwest Edition features a comprehensive overview of 8 primary masonry enclosure assemblies—including design details and discussion for each—and standardizes local preferences and best practices for masonry wall systems design and construction.

RDH contributors included Michael Aoki-Kramer, Bailey Brown, and Graham Finch. Substantial input also came from RDH’s experienced team of researchers, including Dr. John Straube, who works with these assemblies and principles daily in the field and in the lab.
