Regional Director – Canada West, Building Science Specialist

Working across a wide spectrum of RDH’s core practice areas in his roles as a consultant, researcher, and educator, Lorne is able to leverage his multifaceted expertise to develop optimal solutions to complex building science problems across the industry. Lorne’s typical projects include world-class architecture, industry-leading energy efficiency, and cutting-edge building technologies. His portfolio includes various innovative projects, such as the Oakridge Redevelopment, Yasodhara Ashram Temple of Light, and Nelson Street Passive House.

Lorne is deeply committed to education and is an accomplished presenter, having spoken at numerous conferences and industry events across North America. Lorne has also shared his knowledge with the next generation of engineers as an Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia and an Instructor at BCIT.

In addition to his role as a Building Science Specialist, Lorne leads the direction and management of RDH’s Western Canada operations.
