RDH provided building enclosure consulting services for the property’s full rehabilitation. The scope of work included removing the existing stucco exterior and replacing it with a high-performance rainscreen assembly comprising new plywood sheathing, insulation, and fiber-cement siding. All exterior windows were replaced, and the existing built-up roofing system was removed and replaced to improve building durability and performance.
CDK Construction served as the general contractor for the project, overseeing the comprehensive rehabilitation. The collaboration between Seattle Housing Authority, RDH, and CDK Construction extended the building’s service life, improved energy efficiency and comfort for residents, and reduced long-term maintenance needs.
