The project is one of several where we have provided building enclosure consulting services to Chard Development. Team members from our Vancouver and Victoria offices supported the project through both the pre-construction and construction phases.
Given the complexity of the building enclosure design, our team prioritized developing a clear enclosure strategy early in the process. This proactive approach helped identify potential risks and guided decision-making throughout the design and construction phases.
During the design phase, we reviewed various construction document components, including shop drawings and assembly specifications. Our team also conducted field reviews throughout the construction process, helping to translate the design intent into on-site execution. We worked closely with Kinetic Construction to apply design specifications and troubleshoot any enclosure-related issues that arose.
Completed in 2018, the building serves as a strong reflection of the client’s vision and makes a meaningful contribution to Victoria’s evolving downtown landscape.
