The focus of this study is on multifamily buildings constructed in the 1960s and 1970s in Victoria, BC. The research sought to answer the following key questions: 1. What are the interior environmental conditions post-retrofit compared to industry benchmarks and the occupants’ experience before the retrofit? 2. How effectively does the ventilation strategy work post-retrofit with respect to interior environmental conditions? 3. What impacts do user characteristics and behaviour have on the effectiveness of theventilation strategy?
