Regional Director – US East, Building Science Specialist
Wei specializes in the performance and design of building enclosures related to heat, air, and moisture control. He leads RDH’s Northeastern United States team from the Boston office.
Wei continues to make inroads in our newest geographic location, overseeing various building enclosure consulting and enclosure commissioning projects. Wei has brought his innovative and direct approach to high-profile projects such as the Maine Medical Center and the Harvard University Art Lab.
Wei has a bachelor of science in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Massachusetts.

As a Project Engineer working in our Boston office, Lucas is relied upon to provide technical input on a mix of new buildings and existing building projects.
He supports the development of new buildings projects from the conceptual design phase through the end of the project and he provides input on various enclosure systems and construction techniques. In addition, Lucas is a key member of RDH’s building enclosure commissioning group, providing enhanced commission services to healthcare, institutional, and commercial clients.
Lucas also leads existing building projects for a diverse range of clients. These services range from façade ordinance inspection and conditions assessments to full building recladding design.
Beginning his career with RDH in Portland, Lucas quickly became an important contributor to the region’s business development and operations. He joined the Boston office when it was established in 2017 and has played an important role in our progress in the region.

Peder is a Senior Project Manager for both new construction and existing building projects in our Boston office. He has expertise in structural evaluation, repair and rehabilitation design, investigations, roofing, parking garages, and key infrastructure, including structural analysis and evaluation of concrete, steel, glass, and masonry structures.
Since beginning his career in building consulting in 2009, Peder has been involved on a wide variety of projects. He has worked with both commercial and institutional clients using diverse materials on façade and structural systems. Peder’s focus has been on structural evaluation and design, concrete and masonry structure repairs, and failure investigations. He is SPRAT certified for industrial rope access and has performed close-range assessments and provided repair design for numerous high-rise buildings. As a seasoned project manager, Peder helps his clients define a scope of services to address their challenges and delivers on that scope from conception through to occupancy.
Peder currently serves as President of the New England chapter of the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI). Prior to joining RDH in 2021, Peder previously worked for WJE and HNTB.

Associate, Senior Façade Consultant
As a Senior Façade Consultant, Shu Talun brings her passion for the mechanics and science within facade systems to the RDH Boston team. With a Master of Architecture from Harvard Graduate School of Design, and over 11 years of experience, Shu is uniquely adept at helping clients achieve their aesthetic and building performance goals. She has managed multi-disciplinary design teams on projects ranging between $30m -$50m.
As an architectural design professional with training in manufacturing, Shu has a passion for engaging across different work cultures to solve complex challenges. She is experienced in the management of the design process through collaboration with architects, general contractors, façade consultants and property developers. Her experience in manufacturing allows her to provide architects with a balanced approach to achieving architectural distinction and cost aware optimization.

Andrew Steingiser | RA, CPHC, LEED AP
Associate, Project Architect, Passive House Consultant
Andrew is a registered architect in Massachusetts and Certified Passive House Consultant with more than 15 years of experience. Andrew leads Passive House Consulting for RDH Boston, working with RDH’s Energy and Sustainability group, as well as providing building enclosure consulting. He is a member of the Board of Directors for Passive House Massachusetts.
Andrew has experience leading design and construction administration of large-scale PHIUS-certified higher education projects, as well as other high-performance commercial and residential projects. Current work includes a focus on zero carbon and deep energy retrofits for existing buildings.
